Where & When
At 9.30am, Saturday 14 November 2009, the whistle was blown at the corner of South Terrace and King William Street to announce the start of the pageant.
As all the floats meander along the pageant route, Father Christmas gets ready to greet all the children in Adelaide and South Australia. His float is always the last float of the Credit Union Christmas Pageant. The pageant officially finishes with Father Christmas arriving at the Magic Cave, North Terrace at around 11.15am. Pageant goers were in position before 9.10am because thats that's when the Guinness World record for the largest Mexican Wave was attempted.
