Credit Union Christmas Pageant Clown-A-Thon
The 2010 Credit Union Christmas Pageant kicks off the inaugural Clown-A-Thon this month and is calling on the broader community to pledge their commitment and secure the experience of a lifetime.
Credit Union Christmas Pageant Event Manager, Brian Gilbertson, says the initiative has been developed to raise funds for charity and to assist with improved pageant production.
This year we have 30 clown positions up for grabs and by working in partnership with MIX 102.3 we hope the outcome will be successful for all involved, says Brian Gilbertson.
Being a clown and sharing the laughter and fun of the event with more than 300,000 spectators is something special and allows you to be a part of a long standing tradition that heralds in the festive season.
The Credit Union Christmas Pageant is offering a unique opportunity for individuals to create their very own Pageant Magic.
Past corporate clown participants Pulteney Grammar School, Haighs and Tagara Builders have already secured their place at Clown School and will be joined by new comers to the program including Klemich Real Estate, Olympic Industries and Sealink, says Brian Gilbertson.
Each clown position costs $1100 (inc GST) and people wishing to be a clown simply need to register online.

This years Credit Union Christmas Pageant will be held in Adelaide on Saturday 13 November 2010 and celebrates the theme together we can make magic happen.
The Credit Union Christmas Pageant is owned and managed by the South Australian Tourism Commission on behalf of the South Australian Government and sponsored by five leading credit unions in South Australia - Savings & Loans, Australian Central, Community CPS Australia, Credit Union SA and Police.
