The Pageant Needs You

More than 320,000 spectators are expected to line Adelaides streets on Saturday 14 November 2009 for the much-anticipated start of the 2009 Credit Union Christmas Pageant.

The Credit Union Christmas Pageant will make its second attempt to secure a Guinness World Record for the worlds largest Mexican Wave.

The crowd will know what to do because there will be a NEW speaker system installed along the whole Pageant route and it will run from South Terrace to North Terrace along both sides at once. It starts at 9.10 am, so get there before 9.00am to stand up and be counted.

The Credit Union Christmas Pageant is seeking an additional 100 volunteers to help with the attempt. Already 200 South Australians have committed to the cause and the Credit Union Christmas Pageant now needs you. All it will take is just 2 hours of your time on the day and the opportunity to be a part of history!

Register your interest at cuatthepageant@tourism.sa.com before Monday 9 November 2009 or just attend the Volunteer Briefing.
