With just 56 sleeps until the 2017 Credit Union Christmas Pageant, the Leukaemia Foundation has joined the event as its official charity partner, contributing to delivering more magic to the streets of Adelaide and the people of South Australia. 

In 2017, the Credit Union Christmas Pageant is celebrating 85 years since the first event. This new partnership will see the Pageant and the Foundation create memories through unique event experiences. 

This is the first time the event has forged a formal partnership with a charity linking back to the 1930’s when the event was used to raise funds for the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Appeal and war time effort relief with the introduction of the Pageant Queen. 

Brian Gilbertson, Event Manager, Credit Union Christmas Pageant said that the event was excited about this new partnership. 

“We are really excited about the partnership. The Leukaemia Foundation is obviously a very worthy cause doing vitally important work for really sick children and their families. There are great opportunities that will come from working together,” said Brian Gilbertson. 

Simon Matthias, General Manager, Leukaemia Foundation said that the partnership delivered a platform to raise much needed funds through different activations.
