Design a Mini Float

The Credit Union Christmas Pageant
is full of wonderful, bright and colourful
floats to carry Father Christmas and
friends along the Pageant route.
Every year, brand new floats, large and small, are made in Stardust Castle and added to the parade. The smaller floats are called mini floats. Look for some mini floats in the photo gallery.
This year something very special happened. Girls and boys from around South Australia created their own mini float designs for a competition where the first prize winner had their mini float built. Their float will join the parade on Pageant Day. What a great Christmas present!
The competition was tough, for two days the judges admired all of the students mini float designs. They were all so good that it was very, very hard to choose a winner. At last, with great difficulty the judges announced the winner; Rodney the Red Bi-plane, designed by students from Owen Primary School.
