Open to children aged 16 and under, the Design a Mini Float Competition gave entrants the chance to plan, draw and submit a design for a small, mobile set that is light enough to be pushed or pulled along the Pageant route on Saturday 10 November - the winning mini float will be an entirely original work that celebrates the spirit of Christmas.
Para Vista Primary School student, Sophia Ivanica, won the 2017 Credit Union Christmas Pageant Mini-Float Design Competition, beating more than 250 other designs from schools around South Australia.
The Credit Union Christmas Pageant called upon creative students to enter a world of fun, fantasy and fairy tales, all with a Christmas theme.
